Taylor Swift has finally opened up about which one of her songs holds a special place in her heart.
The 35-year-old superstar appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday, December 10, where she was asked to name her personal “top five” tracks. Colbert told her that legends like Elton John, Dolly Parton, and Bruce Springsteen had already shared their lists with him.
Swift looked visibly overwhelmed by the question at first and joked about the pressure.
She responded with a laugh, saying, This is so much pressure, oh my god.
The singer asked for more time to think through all five songs, explaining that her relationship with her music keeps evolving.
I think I need a little time to appreciate my work — it constantly changes, she said.
Still, Swift did confidently reveal one song she would place at the very top.
I will say I think number one is ‘All Too Well’ — the 10-minute version, she announced, prompting loud cheers from the audience.
Swift also admitted she’s still “obsessed” with the new tracks from her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, and mentioned she would include Mirrorball from her 2020 album Folklore somewhere on the list as well.
