The producer of Emily in Paris has hinted at an exciting possible shift in location as the series looks ahead to its potential sixth season. Following the dramatic ending of season five, fans are eagerly speculating about where Emily Cooper’s journey may take her next.
Speaking in a recent interview, executive producer Andrew Fleming shared that while Paris will always remain central to the show’s identity, the creative team is open to exploring new destinations if the series is renewed. He explained that the finale was intentionally crafted to spark curiosity about Emily’s future and her evolving personal life.
Fleming revealed that season five subtly introduced the idea of Emily stepping into a new chapter beyond France. After brief storylines set in Italy, the ending suggested that Greece could play a significant role in upcoming episodes. According to him, the possibility of a Mediterranean setting is very much on the table.
“If the show continues, Paris is still home,” Fleming noted, adding that traveling to other countries allows the series to feel fresh while maintaining its original charm. He confirmed that the final moments of season five were meant to hint at where Emily’s story might unfold next.
The potential move has also excited members of the cast. Actor Samuel Arnold, who portrays fan-favorite Julian, expressed enthusiasm about the idea of filming in Greece. In an interview with Us Weekly, Arnold admitted he would gladly embrace the opportunity, especially since he has never visited the country before.
As Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, prepares for what could be her next adventure, fans remain eager to see how her career and relationships evolve in season six. While no official confirmation has been made, the hints have already fueled excitement across the show’s global fanbase.
